As our Kitchen Porter you are essential in ensuring the successful running of the kitchen, working closely with Chefs enabling the smooth running of its day-to-day operation.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter who takes pride in their work and enjoys working within a dedicated and friendly team. The ability to understand instruction is required, along with flexibility as there will be a mixture of straight and split shifts. Previous kitchen experience is desirable although training will be provided.
The main tasks of the Kitchen Porter will include the preparation and cleaning of kitchen surfaces, equipment and floors; washing up, preparation of food (vegetables and salads) as directed by Chef; helping with the movement of goods into the kitchen stores; monitoring the stock to ensure there is adequate food provision during service.
12 noon start for 5 days out of 7 and does include weekend work.
