We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained regularly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Skills
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety protocols is advantageous
