We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, reliable and flexible individual to play a key role in the efficient running of our warehouse and finished goods operation.

Hours: 38.75 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – Flexible Shift Rota
- Days: 07:00 – 15:30
- Afters: 09:30 – 19:00
Salary package
Salary: £27,587 per annum
Laundry allowance of £5 per month.

The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Picking, locating and accurately checking customer orders.
- Inspecting pallets and reporting any quality or damage concerns.
- Participating in stock counts, including preparation, counting and reconciliation.
- Locating finished products from the production holding area.
- Maintaining housekeeping standards to the highest level.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and providing support where required.
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
- Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects or concerns.
- Supporting other departments when required.
- Loading wagons as and when required.
- Ensuring gate security following final load dispatch.
- Loading slip-sheet when required.
- Training and supporting the cutting of CTS orders when needed.
- Remaining flexible and adaptable to meet changing business requirements.

Key Skills & Experience
- Excellent understanding of finished goods processes.
- Good problem-solving skills and strong decision-making ability.
- Understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
- Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
- Competent IT skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
- Valid FLT licence is essential.
