Self-Employed Dental Nurse – Evenings & Saturdays
Location: Urban Health Care 301 – 305 High Street, Croydon, CR0 1QL
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and experienced self-employed Dental Nurse to join our welcoming and professional team on a part-time basis, covering evening shifts and Saturdays.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible work within a modern, patient-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for a variety of dental procedures.
- Preparing and sterilising instruments in accordance with HTM 01-05 guidelines.
- Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, fully stocked and ready for each patient.
- Providing exceptional patient care and reassurance throughout appointments.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the practice.
- Adhering to all cross-infection, health and safety, and CQC standards.
Essential Requirements
- GDC registered Dental Nurse with an active registration.
- Valid indemnity insurance.
- Up-to-date DBS certificate.
- Current CPR/medical emergencies training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable and well-presented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, organised and committed to delivering high standards of patient care.
Desirable
- Experience with Dentally software.
- Oral surgery experience.
- Radiography qualification.
- Experience assisting with implants, orthodontics or cosmetic dentistry.
