The Role
You’ll be responsible for running the kitchen during service, including:
* Preparing and marinating fresh chicken
* Food preparation before opening
* Cooking and serving food to a consistently high standard
* Operating the EPOS system and taking customer orders
* Managing stock and food safety
* Cleaning and closing the kitchen after service
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
* Working confidently on your own
Working Pattern
The kitchen is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm until 9:00pm.
Your working hours will also include food preparation before opening and cleaning after closing, so the role will involve additional hours outside of service times.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous kitchen or chef experience
* Is confident working independently
* Is organised and able to manage their own workload
* Is friendly and comfortable serving customers
* Takes pride in cleanliness and high food standards
* Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
* Has a detailed knowledge of food hygiene with supporting food hygiene qualification at level 2
Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
