Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Secretary to provide essential administrative support within a busy healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff. Duties
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Preparing and maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Handling correspondence, including emails, letters, and referrals
- Coordinating communication between doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations
- Supporting the clinic’s administrative operations to ensure seamless daily functioning
Qualifications
- Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare or medical setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office programmes such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
