Beyond Your Brand is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base and improve how we follow up, nurture and convert new business opportunities.
We are a growing digital agency based in Witney, Oxfordshire, working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs across websites, SEO, Google Ads and social media advertising. We built our business by offering high-quality websites with no upfront cost, giving clients a more accessible way to invest in a professional online presence without a large initial outlay.
Most of our new business comes through referrals, partnerships and local relationships, and we are now looking for someone to help us manage increasing demand and build a more consistent sales process.
This is a relationship-led sales role. We are not looking for someone pushy or overly corporate. We are looking for someone friendly, commercially confident, organised and proactive; someone who is comfortable speaking with business owners, following up opportunities, attending local networking events and helping prospects understand how we can support them.
You would be responsible for following up inbound enquiries, reactivating older leads, nurturing prospects, managing opportunities in our CRM system, attending networking events and preparing proposals using our existing packages. You would be supported by the business owners and our internal specialists, particularly on larger or more technical opportunities.
In addition to reactive business development, this role will require you to be hungry to generate your own new business opportunities through proactive outreach, whether that be outbound calls, direct emails or LinkedIn relationship building. You will also work closely with our paid media team to help shape our campaigns within agreed business sectors. You will provide timely and regular feedback to help us refine our marketing.
The ideal person will have experience in B2B sales, and business development or account management. Agency, digital, web, SEO or PPC experience would be a bonus, but it is not essential if you are digitally savvy and strong at building relationships.
We are open to people returning to work, changing sector, or moving from a larger corporate environment into a smaller, more personal SME environment. What matters most is that you are commercially confident, relationship-led, organised and able to represent the business in the right way and that you are prepared to be proactive with strategic outreach.
You will need to be confident on the phone, good with people, consistent with follow-up and comfortable working in a small, friendly, hardworking team.
For the right person, this role has real progression potential and could grow into a senior commercial leadership role as the business continues to develop.
