The post holder will be committed and keen to providing a high level of cleaning service, in addition to safeguarding and reporting potential and actual risks.
The role requires upkeep of 25 + properties located around Birmingham so It is essential you have a full UK driving licence and use of your own car. Hours vary on a week by week basis, based on an average of 20-25 hours work per week. Mileage Costs will be reimbursed.
Key roles and responsibilities of the post:
1. To be responsible for the cleaning of all floors, fixtures, furniture and equipment in the
communal areas, office, and any other shared areas in accordance with the cleaning schedule
2. End of tenancy cleaning
3. Report to Life Skills Coach any resident emergencies or any health and safety incidents and risks that day.
4. Work within the guidelines included in the professional boundaries procedure at all times and ensure the highest standards of confidentiality relating to individual residents and Pegasus Supported Housing are maintained.
5. Carry out the work in accordance with the procedures, processes and guidance included in the Supported Housing Handbook.
6. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
7. To work at any Pegasus Supported Housing accommodation required,
including providing cover for other supported housing cleaners in their absence.
8. Perform any other reasonable duties compatible with the nature of the post as determined by Managers within the service.
9. Adhere to Pegasus Supported Housing policies, rules and procedures including, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, all other legislative responsibilities, governance, financial and procedural rules.
10. Ensure compliance to the organisation’s Code of Conduct in the delivery and provision of services to staff and the community.
