We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, fun-loving drama teacher for children's drama classes.
Must have relevant qualification in drama and/or teaching with a love of of working with and developing children from 5 to 15 years. A driver's license and own car are essential for this position.
The position is initially for 3 hours per week across 1 day:
WEDNESDAY:
4-5pm: Helensburgh
6-8.15pm: Alexandria
Classes run during school terms and additional hours could be generated through good practise and proven retention.
The rate is £22 per class once training is complete - this training will be shorter for motivated and experienced practitioners. Further classes may be available for suitable practitioners.
This is a free-lance contract and practitioners are expected to attend all their classes unless there are exceptional circumstances and practitioners are fully responsible for dealing with tax and national insurance.
Drama Kids (previously Helen O'Grady Drama Academy) is the world's largest international drama academy - promoting confidence, communication and creativity. Students follow a given curriculum which offers the teacher focus and structure but use of individual creative flair is not only encouraged but essential to ensure that each lesson engages students.
