Job Summary
FrameCo are seeking an experienced and dedicated Wood Machinist/Joiner/ Furniture Maker to join our team in a busy frame makers workshop.
This is a great opportunity to work with a small team of skilled carpenters, making furniture frames for our upholstery customers.
We provide our customers with good quality frames which are either:
Repeat frame orders at a low quantities
Bespoke one-off pieces
Antique copying / Restoration
Working with quality hardwood and a range of traditional woodworking machines, we make our frames using traditional and modern techniques in a reasonably paced and friendly environment

Responsibilities
- Assemble bespoke wooden structures and components using power tools and machines.
- Install joinery elements accurately on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout all phases of work.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery roles within construction or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and screwdrivers; experience with power tools and machines are essential.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately.
