Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in baking and have a keen interest in food production and preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to food safety regulations. This role requires someone with previous experience in bread making and baking. Also knowledgeable of croissants and pastry work. We are happy to provide training if the correct candidate has some experience
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked goods for service.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the culinary field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious baked goods.
