Duties
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, supporting their daily routines with dignity and respect
- Supervise and mentor junior care staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring adherence to care standards
- Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, recognising any changes or concerns promptly
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and resident progress using IT systems
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, and the wider healthcare team
- Support residents with mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and social activities to promote independence and wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior or specialised care within a care home environment
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, and team members
- Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans electronically
- Driving licence is advantageous for transportation purposes
- Knowledge of current care standards, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation in senior care
- Compassionate attitude with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively

Pay: £15.75-£18.00 per hour
