Are you a strategic, hands-on quality leader ready to shape standards across a major national care provider?
We are working with a large, well-established care home operator to appoint a Quality Director to lead clinical and operational quality across their portfolio of homes. This is a pivotal, board-level role for an experienced leader who can drive regulatory excellence, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and support sustainable growth across the group.
The Role
- Take ownership of the quality and compliance agenda across a large portfolio of care homes in the Midlands and South of England
- Lead CQC readiness and inspection strategy, ensuring consistently strong regulatory outcomes
- Develop and implement group-wide clinical governance frameworks, policies, and quality assurance systems
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to Regional and Home Managers on quality, safety, and best practice
- Analyse quality data and trends to identify risk, drive improvement plans, and report to the Executive Board
- Champion a resident-centred culture of safety, dignity, and continuous improvement across the organisation
About You
- Proven senior leadership experience in quality, clinical governance, or compliance within the care home / healthcare sector
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
- A track record of leading quality improvement at scale across multiple sites
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at Board level
- Registered nurse background (RGN/RMN) desirable but not essential
- Willingness to travel across the Midlands and South of England
