Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices
- Engage with customers, offering recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques is an advantage
