* THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTARY PLACEMENT *
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team.
This is an ideal opportunity for students currently studying animal courses or for someone looking to expand their animal knowledge.
You will get to assist our animal keeper with all aspects of our animal husbandry:
- helping to prepare feeds
- assisting with clean outs
- record keeping
- health checking
- helping with enrichment projects
- maintenance of enclosures for our variety of exotic and domestic animals.
You must be:
- 16 years or over, for insurance purposes.
- Willing to work outside in all weathers and get dirty!
- Able to get to Mayland for a 9am start.
Shifts are 9-1.30pm and we are currently looking for people to volunteer on Monday-Thursdays & Saturdays.
