Fuel Station Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hire, recruit and train service station staff.
- Ensure that station is applying the correct fuel retail prices as instructed from time to time to maximize fuel profit margins.
- Ensure the Service Station is always neat, clean, tidy and organized.
- Delivering department routines.
- Manually condensing stock and handling products with care to maintain product quality. Ensure the safe running of the petrol station.
- Ensures customer complaints and queries regarding sales and service are appropriately handled; Serve our customers at the checkout and replenish stock in the store.
- Responsible for influencing, motivating, and guiding a team.
- Plan and manage the staff rota, stock availability and sales targets.
- To carry out monthly fuel audits to ensure the correct payments of monies and security of the Company & fuel stocks.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum three years' experience in fuel station or retail management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in fuel stock control, cash management and retail operations.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and Petroleum Regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
- Professional appearance and attention to detail. Flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Salary £42,000 per annum
Pay: £42,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
