Fosbrooke House is an Independent Living Scheme in Lytham for Retired Clergy.
Rate of pay: Weekdays £13.55 per hour.....Weekends £13.70 per hour
We require an experienced support worker to work part time hours (18 per week), various shift patterns between the hours of 8am and 4pm Mon-Fri, and one weekend in three - 8am to 4pm.
We are not a care home and this job is not to carry out personal care, the role is to support our residents to assist them to live independently.
Support duties change daily depending on the residents needs and these are our priority, there is communal cleaning done daily, laundry, one meal a day served at lunchtime.
Essential Criteria:
As well as experience in the care/housing sector, you need to be flexible to cover annual leave, work extra hours when we have events etc.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Professional attitude and approach.
Commitment to customer centred service and an empathy with older people.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
To have an enthusiastic and positive 'can do' approach.
