The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Health, Safety & operational Compliance Manager to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first-class experience for players, staff, and supporters.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
- Fire Safety Management qualification (NEBOSH,
- Internal Auditor qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management experience.
- Strong presentation skills, strong IT Skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Role Expectations
As the Health, Safety & operational Compliance Manager you will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain the (HSOCS), standards, KPIs, policies and procedures, staying current with evolving legislation, government guidance and regulatory protocols to ensure ongoing compliance and drive timely delivery of Health and Safety action plans that raise standards and performance across the club.
- Build and maintain systems to monitor, manage and record all operational compliance activities, identifying risks early and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, statutory servicing, purchasing and audit requirements.
- Maintain statutory servicing and preventative maintenance regimes, ensuring all safety-critical systems run efficiently and comply with manufacturer guidance and government legislation.
