Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our small hospitality team.
This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, getting to know regular customers and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Cleaning responsibilities at the end of each evening.
- Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service and closing down at the end of shifts
- Promote specials and additional offerings to maximise sales opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
