We are currently seeking Assistant Front Office Manager to join our Front Office team.
Job Overview
Assists the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. Front office areas include Bell Staff, Night Staff and Guest Services/Front Desk. Position directs and works with managers and associates to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check in and check out process. Ensures guest and associate satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
Brief Responsibilities
- Manage daily front office operations, ensuring service quality, brand standards, and guest expectations are consistently met.
- Supervise and support front office associates, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and stepping in when required.
- Deliver services that go above and beyond to drive guest satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
- Handle guest complaints and disputes professionally, aiming for prompt resolution and service recovery.
- Interact regularly with guests to gather feedback on service quality, satisfaction, and improvement areas.
- Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to implement service enhancements and address operational gaps.
- Communicate clear goals and expectations to the front office team to support departmental performance.
- Provide on-the-job coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to improve service delivery.
- Identify training and development needs, mentoring associates to build skills and improve overall performance.
- Participate in the associate performance appraisal process and assist in conducting regular feedback sessions.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring of team members with suitable skills and attitude.
- Review associate satisfaction feedback and support initiatives to improve engagement and morale.
- Ensure compliance with all front office policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Monitor adherence to hotel credit policies to minimize financial risk from bad debts and rebates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management to support operational needs and business priorities.
