Job Summary:
Trimax Industrial Design Ltd is seeking an Industrial Design Supervisor to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of innovative industrial design projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented professional who enjoys leading design teams, improving product development processes, and bringing ideas from concept to production. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional, high-quality, and commercially successful product designs.
What you'll do:
- Supervise day-to-day industrial design activities and project workflows.
- Coordinate product design projects from concept through prototype and production.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
- Review design concepts, technical drawings, prototypes, and product specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Ensure design quality, functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Support product testing, design validation, and continuous product improvements.
- Prepare project reports, design documentation, and progress updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve design processes and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on industrial design trends, materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience in industrial design, product design, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or team coordination experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good understanding of product development, design processes, and manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with CAD software, 3D modelling, product prototyping, or similar design tools is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience are welcomed.

Pay: £3,900.00-£5,600.00 per month
