We're looking for a high-energy Festival DJ to keep thousands of festival-goers entertained throughout Beach Fest Bournemouth.
This isn't just about playing great music – we're looking for someone who can control the crowd, create an incredible atmosphere, and confidently host the event on the microphone between our live tribute acts and entertainment.
What you'll be doing:
- DJing between live performances across all three festival days.
- Keeping energy levels high and maintaining a packed audience between acts.
- Making professional stage announcements and introducing performers.
- Using the microphone confidently to engage the crowd and build excitement.
- Reading the audience and adapting music to suit the atmosphere.
- Working closely with the event production and stage management team.
- Helping create an unforgettable festival experience.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience DJing at festivals, large events, clubs or outdoor concerts.
- Is confident and charismatic on the microphone.
- Can entertain large crowds and naturally engage an audience.
- Has excellent music knowledge across a wide range of genres.
- Is reliable, professional and punctual.
- Can remain calm under pressure in a live event environment.
- Is available for all three event days.
Desirable:
- Own DJ equipment (if required).
- Experience working alongside live bands and tribute acts.
- Experience hosting festivals or major public events.
