Trainee Dental Nurse

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and positive person to join our team as a Trainee Dental Nurse / Dental Receptionist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop new skills and build a rewarding career within a professional healthcare environment.
No previous dental experience is required we are looking for the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn. Previous experience in administration, customer service, reception or healthcare would be advantageous, but is not essential.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our friendly team, you will have the opportunity to learn and become involved in a variety of areas, including:
- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression
- Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Maintaining accurate patient records and completing administrative tasks
- Assisting our fantastic team of clinicians in surgery
- Carrying out Decontamination in line with HTM 01-05
- Learning about dental procedures, terminology and practice systems
- Providing excellent patient care and customer service
- Following practice policies, health & safety and confidentiality procedures

Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
