Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall quality of care provided.
- Drive initiatives that encourage children's social skills, creativity, and independence.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with children and parents.
- Leadership qualities to manage activities and guide children positively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and patient demeanour.
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
