Where You'll Be Working
Successful applicants may be offered a position at any of our three Carlisle stores, depending on business needs and your location. Our stores are located at:
- London Road Domino's
- Wigton Road Domino's
- Kingstown Road Domino's
We'll always do our best to place you in the store that's most suitable for both you and the business. There may also be opportunities to work across more than one store, giving you greater flexibility and the chance to pick up additional shifts if you wish.
About the Role
As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of Domino's, delivering hot, handcrafted pizzas safely and efficiently to our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
When you're not out on deliveries, you'll be an important member of the in-store team, helping prepare the store for service and ensuring every customer receives the high standards Domino's is known for.
Every shift is different, and you'll play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering customer orders safely, accurately and on time.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every doorstep.
- Driving responsibly and following all road traffic laws.
- Checking orders before leaving the store to ensure accuracy.
- Helping answer customer questions regarding deliveries and orders.
- Assisting with food preparation and boxing pizzas when required.
- Helping with washing up, cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Restocking ingredients, packaging and drinks throughout your shift.
- Supporting the team during busy periods.
- Keeping the store clean, organised and ready for service.
- Carrying out opening and closing duties when required.
- Looking after your delivery equipment and ensuring it remains clean and presentable.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points.
- Have not received a driving ban within the last five years.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Are reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Can remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
- Are comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Have good local knowledge of Carlisle (or are happy using navigation apps).
- Previous delivery driving experience is helpful but not essential—we'll provide full training.
