Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and muti skilled Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using a variety of tools and techniques. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, durability, and quality in every project. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials such as wood, drywall, with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute project plans
- Perform structural repairs and modifications on existing buildings or frameworks
- Collaborate with tradespeople
- Conduct roofing tasks including slating/tiling, flashing, and waterproofing to ensure weather resistance
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws) and masonry techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly on-site
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment
- Knowledge of roofing systems, masonry work, and general construction practices required
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- 5+ years experience
- Must be able to work well in a team and as an individual.

Pay: £14.00-£16.50 per hour
