We are hiring for a temporary cleaner to work in our offices in Measham.
Initially the shifts to be covered would be:
Thursday 18th June - Friday 26th June 430pm - 930pm
&
Monday 29th June - Friday 3rd July 930am - 12pm.
The successful candidate could be offered more work in the future should things go well.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of the facilities.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain a high standard of organisation within the work area to facilitate efficient cleaning routines
Skills
- Proven ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools effectively
- Basic driving skills preferred for transporting cleaning supplies or equipment between sites
- Fluency in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Excellent customer service skills to address client needs courteously and professionally
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with colleagues and reporting issues accurately
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met consistently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules and deadlines
