Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to lead our logistics operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions
- Manage warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and materials handling to meet production and distribution schedules
- Oversee the use of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms such as AS400 to track shipments and inventory levels
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline freight movement and optimize costs
- Implement process improvements in logistics workflows to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality standards
- Conduct data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety protocols, and company policies across all logistics functions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of category management principles within supply chain operations
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, including AS400
- Expertise in shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling, and warehouse experience
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; relevant forklift certification is preferred
- Excellent data analysis skills for monitoring logistics performance and identifying improvement opportunities
- Skilled in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational workflows
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead teams, coordinate cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities efficiently
