We are a growing food preparation company specialising in the preparation of fresh vegetables. We are looking to recruit reliable and hardworking Food Preparation Operatives to join our team.
The Role:
- Preparing vegetables using both machinery and hand tools (knives)
- Operating food preparation machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Cleaning down work areas and equipment at the end of each shift
- Working as part of a team to ensure daily production targets are met
Working Hours:
- Normal working hours are 8am – 5pm
- Start & finish times may vary during quieter periods
- Additional hours may be required during busier periods
- Shifts will end once all production and cleaning tasks are completed
- All overtime is paid at the standard rate
Working Days:
- The working week runs from Sunday to Friday, with employees working 5 days out of 6
- You will have one agreed day off during the week, scheduled in advance.
- Working on bank holidays is required as part of this role, in line with business needs

- Knife skills are an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided
