- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their enquiries and advise on item selection including lighting products, components and controls.
- Advise on installation, installation requirements, and product operation, liaising with customers and Specification teams regarding technical queries.
- Prepare accurate technical quotations, including supporting product information, specifications, photometric data, and compliance documentation where required.
- Communicate with relevant departments on stock availability.
- Communicate directly with suppliers to gain technical information and pricing.
- Process purchase orders.
- Liaise with technical services, luminaire design and laboratories on new products and specials.
- Assist with product launches.
- Assist with case studies approved by Sales Office Manager.
- Other sales related duties, which may arise from time to time.
- Interpret technical drawings, lighting specifications, datasheets, and project requirements to recommend appropriate lighting and electrical solutions.
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
- Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure.
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, Work Instructions and Safe Systems of Work.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to hold concentration whilst working in a fast moving, open plan environment.
