Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Cook dishes as directed by senior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Support the team in serving food efficiently during busy periods
- Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organisation
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Assist with washing up, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
