Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist in menu planning, ingredient selection, and portion control to optimize flavor and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and timely meal delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating flavorful dishes
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and techniques used in meal preparation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior experience serving guests or customers is a plus but not mandatory
