Little Learners Day Care is a small childcare setting located in Kippax. We provide the best childcare for babies and children 0-4 years, offering a safe, caring, supportive and stimulating environment for the children in our care to flourish. As a result of our continued growth, we are now looking for a level 2 or 3 nursery practitioner to join our amazing team.
We are looking for qualified or non qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our established team and have both full time and part-time opportunities. The day-to-day duties will include:
o Leading focus activities linked to the early years curriculum and facilitating free flow play both inside and outdoors, to maximise each child’s daily experience and development.
o Recording observations of the children's development.
o Contributing to the planning of suitable learning and development activities.
o Feeding/supporting children at meal and snack times and cleaning children and the dining room afterwards.
o Changing nappies and assisting with toileting and hygiene requirements.
o Ensuring the safeguarding of all children by being constantly aware of potential risks and hazards and promoting safe practices.
o Supporting the children in an age-appropriate way in becoming independent around certain tasks. Whilst also modelling and teaching the children the importance of kindness, respect and manners.
o Plus, a variety of other duties to ensure the children in our setting receive the highest standards of care and have fun throughout their day.
If the successful candidate is unqualified, an apprenticeship is also available.
