Sandwich Bar Assistant
Job Type: Part-time (Permanent)
Salary: National Living Wage (£12.71 / hour)
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 9:15am – 2:00pm
This is a part-time permanent role and applicants should be available to work these days and hours on a regular basis.

We are a busy, friendly sandwich bar committed to serving fresh, high-quality food with excellent customer service. We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Sandwich Bar Assistant to join our team.
Whether you have previous experience in catering or hospitality, or you're looking to learn new skills, we'd love to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
We're looking for someone who is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. Although this is a part-time position, we'd love to find someone who is looking for a stable role and can grow with the business for many years to come.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and other food items to a high standard
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Operate the till and process cash and card payments accurately
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation throughout the day
- Restock ingredients, drinks and packaging as needed
- Ensure food is prepared safely and in line with Food Hygiene regulations
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Help keep the kitchen, preparation areas, and customer seating area clean and tidy
- Work as part of a team to provide a fast, friendly and welcoming service
