Wok Chef Pay:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
We are looking for a skilled and fast-paced Wok Chef to join our kitchen team. Your main role will be to prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes in large batches to keep our buffet counters fully stocked. Speed, consistency, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role, as you will be cooking during busy peak lunch and dinner rushes. Key Responsibilities High-Volume Cooking: Efficiently operate commercial wok burners to cook a wide variety of meat, seafood, and noodle dishes in large quantities. Buffet Replenishment: Monitor buffet tray levels and coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure food is replenished before it runs out. Station Management: Maintain, clean, and organize your designated cooking station throughout the shift. Recipe Consistency: Follow standard restaurant recipes to ensure taste, color, and portion sizes remain consistent
Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a Wok Chef or Line Cook in a Chinese restaurant. Ability to work quickly and safely with high-heat commercial wok ranges. Good physical stamina (capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy woks/pots). Basic understanding of UK food safety standards (Level 2 Food Safety certification is a plus). Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings. Right to work in the UK

Asian Section Sous Chef Rate
£14.50 - 16.00 ph
We are looking for a skilled and experience asian cusine chef to lead our asian kitchen. The kitchen will be fast-paced with a variety of different Chef working together. Your will be ensure high quality preparation and food comes out Chinese dishes in large batches to keep our buffet counters fully stocked and to communicate and work effectively with other sections. Leadership, speed consistency, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role, as you will be cooking and leading during busy peak lunch and dinner rushes.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
