Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient barista and supervisor with experience to join our vibrant team (weekend availability essential). The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with accuracy.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is essential and enthusiasm to learn and develop the role is key.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic food preparation skills to assist with light meal assembly when necessary.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well within a team in a dynamic environment.
