Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Technician to join a busy FMCG manufacturing facility in Flint, North Wales.
This is a permanent opportunity for a time-served engineer with a strong electrical bias who enjoys working in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Working as part of the Engineering & Maintenance team, you will play a key role in keeping production machinery and equipment operating safely and efficiently, responding to breakdowns and completing planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across a busy FMCG manufacturing facility.

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.

Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.

Identify recurring faults and contribute to improvements in equipment reliability.

Support engineering projects and equipment upgrades where required.

Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance records.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures.

Support a strong culture of Health & Safety and continuous improvement.

Time-served Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.

Recognised engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).

Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills.

Previous experience within FMCG, food, packaging or another high-volume manufacturing environment.

Experience carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance.

Ability to effectively fault-find and return production equipment to operation.

Good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.

Experience working within a fast-paced, production-led environment.

Flexible approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Willingness and ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
