Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within various commercial premises. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties across multiple commercial sites, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch surfaces regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with company policies
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks effectively
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
