Commis Chef (or CDP) required for our kitchen which produces fresh food 5 days a week.
The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days a week, full-time, 3 days a week part-time, including weekends and bank holidays when required.
Candidates must have experience in running a section in a kitchen producing fresh food, they must be motivated, punctual, flexible, timely, be able to work as part of a team, but occasionally on their own, have high standards of cleanliness both personally and in the kitchen and be able to follow health and safety regulations, plus allergen requirements. We hold a 5 hygiene rating which we must maintain.
Our kitchen runs a high quality menu with an additional specials menu, and also caters for Buffets and full sit down meals for big tables. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to support our Head Chef and Sous Chef, make and produce freshly prepared food both in advance and when ordered by customers.
Salary may be reviewed based on a candidates ability and experience.
