Investment Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Birmingham (Brindley Place)

We re looking for an ambitious and analytical Investment Analyst to join our Corporate Finance & Treasury team and help shape the future of our organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in corporate finance with exposure to a wide range of business areas. You ll work alongside experienced professionals, develop valuable commercial and analytical skills, and play an important role in helping GreenSquareAccord achieve its social purpose.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of similar experience to progress, or a foundation in business or economics qualifications (A-level or degree).
What you ll be doing
This is a role where your work will have real impact. Your analysis will help ensure GreenSquareAccord continues to invest wisely while delivering positive outcomes for our customers and communities.
Producing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
Analysing empty properties to support investment or disposal decisions using specialist investment appraisal tools.
Working with colleagues across Finance, Strategic Asset Management, Housing and Communities, and other departments.
Providing detailed financial and commercial analysis that supports senior leaders in making informed decisions.
Developing reports, financial models and presentations that influence the future direction of the business.
Supporting wider strategic and financial planning projects.
What we re looking for
Degree or A Levels in Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies or Finance.
Great interpersonal skills, able to form trusted professional relationships.
Around 12 months Work Experience in an office-based role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good Excel skills and confidence working with data.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Someone who is curious, commercially aware and passionate about making a difference through numbers.
