Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assemblying, and troubleshooting generators to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Duties
- Assemble diesel generators in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- carry out post-assemble jobs such as installing water jacket heaters etc
- Test generators to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- loading and unload parts/generators from or onto trailers or containers
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues related to generator systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Experience with power tools relevant to generator maintenance and repair
- Good problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to diagnosing issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for documenting work performed and liaising with colleagues

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
