Ash Bank Garage is a well-established, family-run garage based in Stoke-on-Trent. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and is looking to develop their skills further.
The role will involve working on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and recommended procedures where applicable.
- Complete job cards, service records and other relevant documentation accurately.
- Clearly record faults identified and work carried out.
- Carry out appropriate checks following repairs before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Work professionally and efficiently as part of the garage team.
About You

- Experienced in vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

- Able to diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Professional in their approach to customers and colleagues.
Experience & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Automotive qualification preferred.
- 5+ years' relevant automotive experience will also be considered.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
MOT Training Available
If you are an experienced Vehicle Technician but do not currently hold an MOT Tester qualification, training and the opportunity to gain your MOT Testing qualification can be provided for the right candidate.
Additional Training
There may also be opportunities to develop your skills in Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance and repair, helping you keep up with the latest developments in automotive technology.
