Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, preventing loss, and providing excellent customer service at various venues. This role requires a confident presence, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities, and are ideal for individuals committed to safety and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and maintain a secure environment
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or irregularities
- Manage crowd control effectively during events or busy periods
- Utilise CCTV systems for surveillance purposes and to assist in incident investigations
- Prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access through proactive loss prevention measures
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, including providing first aid when necessary
- Enforce venue policies and liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as required
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- First aid certification is highly desirable
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to situations
