Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience and must be responsible for maintaining order, monitoring activities through surveillance systems, and providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in creating a safe environment while upholding the organisation’s standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Greet and manage entry to the premises and verifying identification
- Maintain vigilance for any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats, intervening when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft or unauthorised access
- Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid when required
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and professionally
- Record incident reports accurately and thoroughly as part of ongoing security documentation
- Collaborate with other security personnel and management to uphold safety standards
- Conflict management
Requirements
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is essential
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and manage potentially confrontational scenarios
- Valid security licence as required by local regulations is mandatory at application stage
