About us:
RSD are a household name in UK HGV Recruitment and we specialise solely in the HGV Technician sector. We're perfectly placed to find you a new role within a fleet or main dealer setting and have live assignments within 30 mins commute of all UK locations.
The roles our HGV specialists recruit for span from HGV mechanic, Mobile HGV technicians, HGV workshop managers, right through to management roles of all levels. We also have numerous HGV Fitter roles for less experienced technicians or for people looking to transition from a complimentary background.
Shifts available include:
- Monday to Friday & 4on4off available.
- Earlies, days, lates, split shifts and nights available.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
- A recognised qualification in automotive engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications such as an HGV licence would be advantageous.
