We’re on the hunt for someone with previous managerial experience looking to support our sales assistant team to deliver excellent customer service whilst being responsible for the day-to-day running of the store. Our boutique is customer-service led, with a fun, relaxed and light-hearted team culture. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic Boutique Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the store, whilst helping bring structure, organisation and inspiration to our small team.
You'll work closely with the owner, who remains actively involved in the strategic direction of the business, while you'll take the lead on the daily operation of the boutique
Duties
- Lead, motivate and support a small retail team.
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring the boutique runs efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
- Create staff rotas and support team development.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation, designing new displays.
- Manage stock replenishment, deliveries and inventory accuracy.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Work closely with the owner, providing feedback on store performance and operational improvements.
- Oversee online orders in the store, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Manage purchasing of sundry & daily expenses - ensuring we do not run out of essential items, using company card sensibly.
- Oversee weekly social media plans & help create content.
Experience
You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership of the day-to-day running of a boutique and thrives in a customer-focused environment. Whilst also craving a chance to get creative with in-store decision making and design.
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience.
- A genuine passion for the country and western lifestyle, music, fashion and community. (Bonus points for a love of crystals and holistic too!)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, positive approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of running a small independent boutique.
- Confidence in working independently while collaborating closely with the business owner.
Benefits include:
- 4 Days per week consisting of 1 Weekend Day & 3 Weekdays (32 hours a week)
- £14 per hour with salary review after 6 months (negotiable)
