Duties
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Administering medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and maintaining accurate records
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Managing behaviour challenges with patience and appropriate strategies
- Assisting with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities when required
Experience
- Proven experience in patient care, home care, or senior support roles
- Knowledge of behavioural management techniques is desirable
- Caregiving experience involving medication administration and meal preparation is beneficial
- Valid driving licence
- Basic training is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate
