Primary Complex Needs Teacher
Specialist SEND School
September Start
A welcoming and well-resourced specialist SEND school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a dedicated Primary Complex Needs Teacher to join their exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing and forward-thinking school committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive education for children with a range of complex learning needs.
The school places a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, personalised learning and enabling every child to achieve their full potential. With a collaborative leadership team and a supportive school community, staff are encouraged to develop professionally through high-quality training and ongoing CPD, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers at any stage of their career.
You will be teaching a small Year 5 class of 12 pupils working broadly at a Key Stage 1 level, delivering a creative primary curriculum with a strong focus on phonics, literacy, numeracy, communication and developing independence. The class is supported by an experienced HLTA and two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants, allowing for a highly personalised approach to learning. The school is exceptionally well-resourced, providing specialist facilities and tailored learning environments to meet the diverse needs of every pupil.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and nurturing teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a primary teaching background. You will be committed to creating engaging, inclusive lessons that build confidence, curiosity and independence, while developing positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Adaptability, creativity and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs are essential.
