We have a permanent position available within our practice (potentially could be 4) :
Working Pattern:
- Monday: 8:30am – 6:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Thursday 8.30am- 5.00pm (TBC)
- Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Our Group operates across three sites in Exeter, and the successful candidates will be expected to work across all locations as part of a rota.
We use SystmOne clinical system.

- Be flexible and able to adapt to working across multiple sites
You will be enthusiastic about delivering excellent patient care, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of an integrated team.

Duties will include:-
- To respond to all queries and requests from patients and other visitors
- Explain Practice arrangements to new and temporary patients
- Use judgement and communication skills to ensure all urgent registrations are dealt with, in an appropriate manner
- Advise patients of relevant charges for private services and take payments
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- To be familiar with appointment system and its variations
- To book appointments, by telephone and in person
- To learn Patient Triage for the University students
- To advise patients of other services available (signpost)
- To receive and take messages, receive and make calls as required
- To ensure the system is operational at the beginning of each day
- To keep white information boards updated daily/weekly
- To check and respond to tasks/workflow
