The Role
As Restaurant General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of your restaurant. You'll lead, coach and develop your management team and crew while ensuring exceptional standards in customer service, food quality, cleanliness and profitability.
You'll create a positive culture where people enjoy coming to work and customers enjoy coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Managers and Team Members.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and consistently achieve brand standards.
- Drive sales growth while controlling labour, food costs and operating expenses.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory accuracy and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety and company policies.
- Recruit, train and retain a high-performing team.
- Analyse business performance and create action plans to improve results.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, maintenance and organisation.
- Lead by example during busy trading periods.
- Build a culture of accountability, recognition and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Senior Manager within hospitality, QSR or retail.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience managing financial KPIs including sales, labour, food cost and profit.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- Passion for developing people and building successful teams.
- Customer-focused with high standards and attention to detail.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
